How It All Started
After years of coordinating major health concerns and facilitating patient care locally and abroad, I kept seeing the same problem: Quality care buried under stress, confusion, and endless logistics.
So I created Wellness Link Barbados.
What started as a simple question – “what if healthcare didn’t have to feel so overwhelming?” – became a mission to connect people with world-class medical care and transformative wellness experiences in the Caribbean. I personally vet every provider, visit every facility, and walk beside every client through their entire journey.
Our Client-Centered Approach
How Wellness Link Works
We don’t just book appointments and send you on your way. Here’s what working with Wellness Link actually looks like:
#1
We Listen First
Before we recommend anything, we understand your full story – your fears, your hopes, what you’ve tried, and what success looks like for you.
#2
We Vet Every Provider Personally
Every doctor, facility, and practitioner has been personally chosen by Dr. Taylor. We only recommend people we’d trust with our own families.
#3
We Coordinate Everything
Appointments, travel planning, accommodation, recovery support, transportation – we handle it all. You focus on healing. We handle the rest.
#4
We're With You Through It All
Before your procedure, during treatment, and after you return home – we’re here. You’re not a booking number. You’re family.
Why Barbados for Medical Tourism?
When we researched medical tourism destinations, we looked everywhere – Costa Rica, Thailand, Mexico, Turkey. But Barbados kept standing out.
Here’s why Barbados is the ideal destination for medical tourism and wellness travel:
That’s why we chose Barbados for medical tourism coordination.
And that’s why our clients consistently tell us the island itself was part of their healing journey.
Meet Dr. Kimberley Taylor
Founder & Director
Dr. Kimberley Taylor founded Wellness Link Barbados in 2025, bringing over 10 years of healthcare coordination experience to medical tourism and wellness travel in the Caribbean.
What Drives Me:
I don’t see this as a business. I see it as my responsibility. When someone trusts me with their health journey, that’s sacred. I take that seriously. I personally coordinate every client’s journey, because that’s what real care looks like.
Beyond Work:
When I’m not coordinating care, I treasure time with my family as a mother of two. I enjoy countryside hikes, beach swims, good local cuisine, and chasing sunsets across the island.
I believe deeply that the island itself is medicine – that healing happens not just in treatment rooms, but in connection, in rest, in Caribbean sunsets, and in the simple act of being truly seen.
Trust Above All
We never recommend a provider we haven't personally vetted. We never prioritize profit over your safety. We never rush you into decisions. Trust is earned, not assumed - and we earn it every day.
Honest Guidance
If we can't help you, we'll tell you. If Barbados isn't the right choice for your situation, we'll say so. We give you the truth, even when it's not what you want to hear - because honesty is the foundation of care.
Care That Lasts
Our relationship doesn't end when you leave Barbados. We check in post-treatment. We're here for follow-up questions. We celebrate your wins. Because that's what family does.

What Our Clients Say About Us
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No referral is required for wellness services. For medical concierge coordination (fertility, surgery, etc.), we’ll schedule a free consultation call first to understand your needs and match you with the right specialists.
How far in advance should I book?
For wellness services, we recommend booking 1-2 weeks ahead. For retreats, 4-6 weeks is ideal. Medical concierge services may require longer lead times (4-8 weeks) depending on specialist availability and your specific needs.
Do you coordinate with my insurance?
We work with providers who accept international insurance, but coverage varies by policy and procedure. We recommend checking with your insurance provider before booking. We’re happy to provide documentation needed for reimbursement claims.
What's included in your coordination fee?
Our coordination services include: provider vetting and matching, appointment scheduling, travel and accommodation arrangements, ongoing communication with providers, pre-arrival preparation, on-island support, and post-treatment follow-up. Medical provider fees, accommodation, and travel costs are separate.
Is medical tourism in Barbados safe?
Yes. We only work with internationally accredited facilities and board-certified specialists. Barbados has excellent medical standards, political stability, and is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean. We personally vet every provider and facility in our network.
